BIOGRAPHY
Marie Milord, CHST, SMP, CSP, is a safety professional with more than 17 years of experience across power generation, utilities, transportation, and heavy civil construction, and earned a certificate in Organizational Leadership from Harvard Business School.
She is the founder of SöMat Culture Consulting LLC, creator of The Bold and Safe, and originator of the term NeuroSafety, which she developed into a proprietary framework integrating behavioral neuroscience, emotional intelligence, psychosocial hazard awareness, and psychological safety to advance a more human-centered approach to safety and leadership. Marie also serves on the board of the ASSP NYC Chapter.
